Does anyone have references that propose reasonable minimum criteria (e.g., maybe a tabulation of ##,#### hours by pump type, or in general). Thanks!!!

I guess it could be expected that a centrifugal pump would have a longer time between overhaul than a PD pump, especially one that uses rubber diaphragms so one may expect centrifugal pumps to require a higher L10 from their bearings.

Submersible Pump L10 Bearing Life (GENERAL): 1) 50,000 hrs (up to 100 HP), 2) 100,000 hrs (> 100 HP), 3) 20,000 hrs. (Small < 5 HP, subm. grinder pumps)
In general, submersible pump bearings are replaced when the unit is overhauled--- typically to replace the mechanical seals, which require more frequent replacement intervals compared to the bearings.
