Good day all, see attached screenshot. Why won't the "flange" mirror?

Extrude-Thin 1 is a circle drawn on the front plane, Extrude-Thin 2
circle was offset from the cylinder edge and extruded.

Solidworks 2011.

Thanks in advance.

Try mirroring the body, not the feature.

JMirisola, thank you for that. I had tried that earlier with a more complex part, with no luck. What I didn't understand was that it seems the body has to be selected from the graphics area by picking on it, rather than from the feature tree. Sound right to you?

I have got a long ways to go with Sworks.

Regards,

Mike

You should be able to select it from the 'Bodies' folder as well.

Right click on the Feature Manager and select Hide/Show Tree Items.
I'm guessing the Solid Bodies folder is set to Hide ... or you have no bodies in the more complex part.

In your first image, you won't see the Bodies Folder unless you switch back to the FM.

CorBlimeyLimey, yes, the Bodies folder was hidden in both parts. Now set to Show. As I said, a long ways to go...

Thanks to both of you.
