Mirrored configured feature not showing

Hi

I have a part with a number of features that are controlled (supressed and unsupressed) in a design table. These features are mirrored and depending if they are suppressed or not, they are mirrored or not. But some features don't behave that way, they loose their "connection" with the mirror feature whenever I change the config.
(when checking the parent/child options a "normal" feature shows the mirror even though the feature itself is surpressd, the vanishing ones do not show the mirror when surpressed)

Can anybody help?

Sounds like you are saying that when you switch configs, sometimes the mirror feature stays suppressed even though the parent feature is unsuppressed. If that is the case, are you controlling the suppression state of the mirror feature in the design table? If not, you should be. You can add excel formulas to help the task... i.e. setting the suppression state of the mirror equal to the suppression state of the parent feature.

The mirror feature is not controlled by the design table because it is never surpressed. That's not the problem. When I switch configurations the unsurpressed features in that configuration should be mirrored. Unfortunately that's not the case with some of the features and I don't know why. They are all added to the mirror feature but when switching to another config and then back to the first one, some are gone from the mirror feature even though they are unsupressed.

So you have one mirror feature that is attempting to mirror multiple features. Sounds fine so far. I think the problem arises when one feature is suppressed... it gets removed from the list of features in the mirror feature. I just tried it on a sample part. Basically when the parent feature is suppressed, the mirror feature treats it like is doesn't exist.

I think you are going to have to have a separate mirror feature for each entity that gets mirrored separately. Then control that mirror feature in the design table similar to what I mentioned above.

Yes, when a feature is suppressed it doesn't appear in the mirror feature and when when it is unsupressed it will reappear. But that doesnt happen with some of the features...

When I look in the parent/child option the mirror feature stays "connected" to the feature for the reappearing onces and disappears completly for the the features that do not reappear.
I believe the problem features where added at a later point than the working ones, so I will delete the mirror feature, unsupress all features and then create the mirrow feature again. After that I will surpress the features in the design table. See if that works...
