Missing data from 2D exchange translation...

in NX 7.5 Sometimes we need to provide dxf file types.

We've got a workstation here that only translates out about 10% of the views geometry. But 100% of the dwg format and dimensions etc...

It's unique to this workstation... works fine on any other.

I also translated to .prt to check the contents of the output prior to the dxf conversion... its already missing at that point.

Any ideas... I've never seen anything like this before.

When you say it works fine on any other, to you mean this same drawing assembly works on other workstations? I have had this happen before when I have assembly files spread out across different folders. If this is the case put them in the same folder and see if it works.

That was it BOP. I wonder if it's on the fix list... this is a pretty significant problem.

It won't get there on it's own....call GTAC and report it if you're under maintenance contract with them.

You would certainly think this would be something that would be on a fix list. But no, there is a different solution. See my August 15 2008 reply that GTAC taught me here:
