Missing on-screen options.

Hi,
I'm a new user to the paid for DS and am tryimg to find my way around the latest version.
As far as I know, honest guv, I didn't touch anything!
I've lost the tool commands displayed at the btm of the Drg screen that give command options to activate Snap, Grid, Ortho, & Polar.
There may have been others but these I remember.
They were missing when I opened DS after not using it for a few weeks.
Any ideas what I've done to loose these & how I can reinstate them?
From a web search I found key strokes to use the functions but would prefer to have the simple "tick box's" back if I can.
Any help would be most welcome.

Some useful Key strokes that might help:-
F1 Display All Possible Commands
F2 Display a small command window
F3 eSnap ON/OFF
F4 Display of recent DS documents. Click on ? to remove.
F5 Switch through ISOMETRIC snap grids (3 off).
F6 Does Nothing.
F7 Turns GRID ON/OFF.
F8 Turns ORTHO ON/OFF.
F9 Turns Normal Snap ON/OFF.
F10 Turns POLAR ON/OFF.
F11 Turns eTRACK ON/OFF.
F12 Turns QInput ON/OFF. Point Data Appears On Screen.

Ctrl 0 Hide/Display Full screen or All Displays.
Ctrl 1 Hide/Display PROPERTIES Display.
Ctrl 2 Changes Properties for a different Screen.
Ctrl 3 -------
Ctrl 4 Exit 'Save changes' alert.
Ctrl 5 -------
Ctrl 6 Hide current work for a NoName_0.dwg

Ctrl 9 Hide/Display CMD window.
Ctrl (letter) O DS Examples.

Just a few useful key commands from which you might gain some help.
