Hi all,
I have multiple instances of the same part in my model. The C3D8R elements for the various instances are supposed to convert to particles (SPH) at a specific strain. However, the analysis doesn't run because of an error relating to missing sections. When I look at the automatically generated set with the elements supposedly missing a section, they correspond to the particles in some of the instances.
This means that, for the langrangian elements the sections are correct but for the particles corresponding to these same elements and only for some of the instances of the same part are the sections "missing"; this does not make sense for me as the section is assigned on a part level.
I can confirm that the other instances do have inactive particles that apparently have correctly assigned sections. All elements are of the same type and have the same section controls.
Has anyone run into this issue and/or do we know of a workaround?
