Missing System Variable

I am working on automating some tasks in Autocad 14. My problem is that I am missing a system variable called CurrentProfile. I have looked on several other machines at my company, all of which are running the same version of acad, and all of them list that system variable with the appropriate profile when I type "setvar" then "?" at the command line.
I have two profiles set up and can switch between them properly even though according to my system (ie: setvar listing), it is not retaining the profile I am using.
Also, is there a file that acad keeps a listing of the system variables in?
Thanks in advance!

AFAIK, there's no current profile system variable
in R14. Starting A2000 (not so sure for R14.01), the
the current profile system variable is "cprofile".
List of system variables can be found in the help
files under Autocad Command Reference.

Estassoc, I have discovered that there is a difference in my version of Acad and everyone else's here. Don't know how it happened, but I am running 14.0 and they are at 14.01. Hmmm...interesting, since everyone's was meant to be installed from the same version. Thanks for calling my attention to the version of R14!
