Missing Views

Has anyone experienced any missing view problems with printing or Acad file conversions. I have mostly ruled out driver issues since the problem is occuring on printers from two different manufacturers. We frequently have drawings printed with the geometry of the initial view missing. Sections and side views are printed correctly. The problem can usualy be overcome by closing and reopening the drawing but this can get annoying when you have to do it 70% of the time. A similar situation occurs when saving drawings as Acad .dwg files. This has only been an issue with SW 2004.

i think this problem occurs when the view is in draft quality and not in the high quality. we have the same problem with a printer, when you print some drawings on this printer and the view is in draft quality the view is empty. when you set the view to high quality you will get it.
