Hey Folks!

Does anyone know if there is any inconvenience in using a mist eliminator (Vane Type) in a sour water stripper?

The concern is that if there is a temperature drop in the tower, or just because of the nature of the process, possible solids accumulation could occur, and therefore, the mist eliminator could get plugged.

The composition of the overhead vapors is 22.5%mole H2S, 54.02% NH3 and 23.48% Water.

I would appreciate any comment regarding this matter.
