Only a the pilot plant stage so far. $10/tonne of water, which is slightly less than what I pay for water brought in by tanker. 4 kWh/tonne, but that is highly dependent on the quality of the incoming water.

A small but sensible contribution to a Net Zero grid - it can respond in real time to variations in solar activity, and does not need batteries (much).

I was about to eye roll this one until I saw a working prototype was built. However, I'm still very skeptical because it was tested on ground water. It does nothing to solve the issue of ground water use.
