I currently have a FX2n PLC with a FX2N-8AD,a FX2N-4DA and a E700 HMI. I want to add another FX2n to this network. I know i can have both PLS talk to the HMI. Do i need to add another analog input and output card for the new PLC to use or can both PLC's use existing. Any help is Greatly appreciated

Is the purpose of the additional CPU for redundancy on the system??

If you explain the purpose of the additionla FX2n we might be able to assist you further,

One note : You might not be able to use this spesific type if it is redundancy,... is it the same equipmet , instrument you want to pull the data from?

Regards

Rheinhardt
