Mixing DC voltage in one cable

Hello everyone,

I want to ask is it ok to mix several DC voltage in one cable?
In my case I want to run 12Vdc,24Vdc and sometimes 16Vdc in one cable. Can I do that?

Technically, sure. Automotive wiring harnesses very commonly contain +12V, +5V, analog-sensor (voltage varies depending on sensor), ground, switched (for various purposes), and CANbus (network communication) signals in the same bundle.

But ... that's automotive, and standard practices in whatever industry you're trying to serve may vary, and you haven't told us the big picture.

If any of the signals involve safety-related functions, there may be various requirements for shielding, separation, fault-protection, circuit-protection, etc that overrule this.
