How soon after a slab is poured can a mobile home be set on a concrete slab? A local company recently set a home two days after the slab was poured. Is this acceptable?

I did not prepare the plans for this so I do not know all the specifics but I was asked my opinion.

If it didn't all crack up and not be intact, why worry. A common support for these "houses" are widely spaced small footings made of concrete blocks. Main purpose is to keep from growing weeds and take away possible "homes' for vermin, etc.

Depends on whether the concrete strength was sufficient at the time the mobile home was set on it. I was on-site for a bridge widening where the concrete was reaching its required ultimate strength (3.25 ksi) in 3 days. It was a 4.5ksi mix.

Also, a mobile home is a very light load. If it was a reinforced slab the concrete needs very little strength to be adequate.

Since it's already done and you have no specifics, an examination of the results is all you have to go by. Was there settlement at the piers or more than shrinkage cracking? If not, then it was apparently ok.
