I've conducted cyclic symmetry analysis of a sector model of a bladed disk. (shell63 in cylindrical coord)
I wrote Fortran code to take out complex modeshapes.
I also obtaned the mass and stiffness matrices using Rdfull.exe.

I've been trying to compute the modal mass matrix as the unit matrix. However, all of the values become one.
(I turned OFF for MODOP option)
Does anyone know how to get the unit matrix?
I'm not sure how the mass and stiffness matrices are assemebled to multiply the modeshapes.

As I said in my e-mail earlier today..you can't do it without solving the adjoint eigenvalue problem..or did you not believe me the first time?

Oh my god…
This is unbelievable..

OK I actually feel excited now.

I did believe you, but my model didn’t have damping, so I wanted to wait to conduct your procedure. I’m sorry.
