How can you find the model data size of a part In Unigraphics and Teamcenter?

In windows explorer hover your mouse over the file and the info should pop up. Alternately mb3 > properties will give the info also.

I don't believe that works under teamcenter. I fact I know of no way to do as you requested unless you export the file to native.

We are using Teamcenter Engineering 9.1.3.5.

You can find the file size stored in the volumes by highlighting the desired dataset you want the file size from.

Now pick the View > Named References... command (note: command is also available by right mouse picking on the dataset of interest).

This will open a dialog showing information about the dataset selected. A dialog window will open showing information about the object. Using the sliders at the bottom and side, search for the UGPART reference. Now look at the Size column for the UGPART reference.

If you have an empty dataset highlighted, the command will return a message telling you the dataset has no references.

Hope this helps.
