Model States vs. iParts

New to Inventor, making choices of how to most effectively re-create our regular designs in Inventor.

I see that in Inv 2022, Model States do everything that an iPart can do and more.

Do Model States replace iParts? Are there situations where iParts remain the better choice for handling variations of a common design?
