Anyone know where to find the "Remove Missing Parents" command to fix this error?

This was the question to start a previously closed thread, there was some discussion, however, the question was never answered.

I have seen this message several times, typically when I'm trying to make current feature a SEW feature that sews a bunch of sheet bodies into a solid.

The Alert -

"Tool: Select Sheet is missing a selected object that is consumed by another feature or suppressed. Use Remove Missing Parents to remove the object by one of the following methods: Edit with Rollback the feature, unsuppress the tool or reorder the feature. Cannot sew sheets into a solid."

Things that may have caused this alert to appear in my experiences seeing the alert - a face may have been absorbed by a face blend getting larger, or an extracted face may have been inadvertently suppressed or deleted...

In any case, from the wording of the alert it does sound like there is a command or function "Remove Missing Parents".

Is there such a command or function, and if so, how do we get to it?

Or perhaps it is just a suggestion (and should not have been written using caps) and the user should try the methods suggested after the phrase "Remove Missing Parents"?

Have you tried Edit With Rollback on the Sew feature? That is where I'd start.

You get this same error/alert when trying to reassociate PMI which went dashed. Particularly in PMI section views when you may have updated an assembly component. Where is the Remove Missing Parent command? The edit with rollback option doesn't make sense within the context of the assembly either. Here is the complete text of the alert:

Associated Objects: Select Object is missing a selected object that is consumed by another feature or suppressed. Use Remove Missing Parents to remove the objects or restore the object by one of the following methods: Edit with Rollback the feature, unsuppress the tool or reorder the feature.

I usually end up deleting the PMI and redoing it because I get so annoyed with it. It seems there could be an edit associativity right click option like there is with annotations in the drafting application.

The "remove missing parents" option will show up in the feature creation/edit dialog box. Right-click the feature and choose "edit with rollback"; when the dialog opens, there will be a delete button in the selection step. When you press this button, it will remove the missing references.

Picture below is for the blend command, but the idea is the same.

There isn't an edit with rollback option on a PMI annotation. You can edit, but there is no X to remove missing parents.

I was referring to the "sew" function mentioned by the OP.

I don't use the PMI functions, so I don't have a solution for that particular problem...
