I need to model a generator for a load flow and stability study in the SKM software.

The generator (only one generator) is in parallel with the utility.

I plan to assign the utility as a SB source and the generator as a PV source.

I have all the detailed information about the generator.

Is there a step by step procedure to model this PV generator?

Is there a link to a publication, white paper, or a book that explains this procedure in detail?

Thanks.

Have you contacted SKM tech support? I'd start there. And look in the folder Docs that the program installs. There are numerous tutorials and training guides.

For fault current, inverters are modeled as current source with around 1.1 pu contribution.

If you can't explain it to a six year old, you don't understand it yourself.
