MODELING AIR??

I am trying to model a solid in air and am having trouble with the boundary between the air and solid so that any motion of the solid will radiate through the air. Can anyone explain how to do this. From what I have read, i am guessing I will need to use the *IMPEDANCE PROPERTY and *SIMPEDANCE commands. Any help would be great...

Hi mmx,

TRy this:

1) Create Surfaces for the the air and for the solid where both are in contact using *Surface

2) Use *TIE to connect both surfaces with each other. Important: the fluid surface is the "slave"
