Modeling distributed generator(s) in a distribution feeder grid connection

I am looking for modeling tools that I can use to model a distribution feeder network that is fed power from substation(s) as well as one or more generators diversely located in the distribution grid.

We have a project where we are looking at connecting one or more alternate energy generators into a distribution feeder. I am trying to do an initial look at the impact on the distribution feeder of feeding power from the generators onto the feeder. I am trying to show that we need to consider the addition of some energy storage to "smooth out" the dynamics of the power fluctuations from the generator(s).

If the modeling tool had an existing distribution grid model that we could use to quickly do some preliminary analysis (and show that more detailed work is needed) that would be most helpful.
