Modeling imperfections in MAPDL

Hello,

Does anyone know how you can add imperfections to a model in APDL? More specifically I want to add imperfections in a non-linear analysis of a honeycomb unit cell.

You can use UPGEOM (Main Menu=>Preprocessor=>Modeling=>Update Geom) command for updating the geometry from static structural analysis to buckling analysis.

Or you can use the linear buckling modes as imperfections in the non-linear buckling analysis by updating geometry using above command.
