I am designing an underground infiltration system and want to utilize sidewall discharge under wetted perimeter and exfiltration under outlets. When I click off wetted perimeter, there is no option to enter it and I am getting an error. Is the wetted perimeter option under a separate dialog box?

Exfiltration is setup as a pond "outlet" device, and the settings are entered on the exfiltration screen.

If you use the velocity option, you can apply the velocity over the "surface area" or "wetted area". Using "wetted area" will allow flow through the sidewalls.

What is the error message? Most mesages will also have a help button for additional details.

I realize that the exfiltration outlet is within a Pond Node in Hydrocad. I would like to utilze the side wall of an underground galley infiltration system. However when I check off the box for wetted area in the exfiltration devise area there is not a spot to enter the value for the wetted area. Am I missing something obvious? Can you point me in the right direction?

thanks for any assistance

All you need to do is select "Wetted area" and enter the velocity. The area is calculated automatically from the storage definition, based on the water surface elevation at each time step during the routing.

If there is also an error message, what is the message?
