modeling of a single lap shear test with composites

Hi,

I am working on a model in Abaqus cae and i have some questions about adhesive behavior.
Reading about this problem in manuals learns me that the modeling of adhesives has to happen with cohesive properties.
Does anyone have experiance with this, since i always find information about infinite smal layers of glue.

i have to work with a thickness of 1mm;

The use of cohesive modelling depends on what you want to model. There has been lot of modelling work regarding adhesive joints. What specific questions you have?
