I'm modeling a heat sealed package that would preferably be slightly associative to the contents of the package. (Something like this: )
This is more for a cosmetic representation so accuracy is not particularly important but having it pseudo-parametric (e.g. if I were changing contents) would be nice to have.
I started playing with the indent function but that gets you a pretty tight fit when really it should be more of a tent. Is there a way to set some sort of offset so that the faces of the package approach tangency at the extents? I don't know how to illustrate the actual seal but that seems minor compared to creating the geometry.
Or any other hints toward modeling this?
Thanks.
