Modelling a hinge in Abaqus

I use Abaqus 6.7-1 (but version 6.6 works on the the same way for what I want to do).
I simply try to model a hinge connector (in 3D because it is not possible in 2D in Abaqus).
In this connector there are 5 constraint degrees of freedom and only one available one (the x-rotation). Nnormaly a connector is between two nodes.
In my case, a rigid pendulum (not deformable, like in multibody software), one node is a reference point encastre and the other point is on the box. But when I do that, my model (a 3D rigid box for modeling of a pendulum) oscillates but not only around my x axis (but it remains attached to the encastre point). It seems that there is more than one dof (because my connector is not located above the center of gravity (RP) ...??). So I add a second encastre point and a second connector, a second hinge and so it works.
But I don't understand why two connectors ??? Normally a hinge constraints the motion around one axis ... What do I wrong ??? And if I consider a beam Ionly can add one hinge at the end and there will be a problem. How have I To do?? Help me please.
