Guys, Could any of you NX wizards offer some advice on a feature I want to model?
The easiest way to explain it is ... to imagine a lathe with a milling cutter moving 5mm in the -Z direction whilst the part rotates 180-degrees (ie 'C' axis).
This is pretty much like using a milling cutter to cut half a turn of a thread.
In the old days of I-Deas I would have achieved this by rotating a sketch with a 'translation' element on.
Should I be looking at the 'helix' or 'law curve' features?
Would there be a good way of 'lofting' between two sketches?
Any help gratefully received ...
