Hello engineers, am a university student doing a final year project that requires use of Staad Pro. Am a beginner user with Staad Pro. tried to follow all examples in the getting started manual but I can't seem to find any help on how to model a Box girder since it's shape is not definesld in the available shapes.
I need some help.

A box girder is made up of a bunch of plate elements and you model it accordingly. There is all kinds of literature out there on the subject and it would behoove you to read a bunch of it before you start your project. Software doesn’t really teach much, or always lead to good design, if you don’t have a good fundamental understanding of the problem. You should be asking these questions of your Prof. or TA, so they know what you know and what you don’t know, and they can them teach accordingly. When you go someplace else for free engineering help, maybe to look smarter than you really are, in the eyes of your Prof. or boss, the whole teaching process breaks down. And, Lord knows it isn’t working too well right now because college grads sure come out of school not knowing much about real engineering work and methods. They don’t seem to have a handle on the engineering fundamentals, how to approach a real engineering problem, on the materials and methods used, or the software which has been foisted upon them, so that they don’t have to understand how their engineered system actually works, to get an answer. They can’t think for themselves, or develop a real world problem and its solution. Finally, if you wasted the time to read the materials surrounding your registration here at E-Tips, you would know that E-Tips is not a forum for student questions and homework.
