Modelling free span on subsea pipeline

Hello.

I am going to modell a subsea pipeline free span in order to obtain eigen frequencies, vibrational modes and static stress.

I have ANSYS Workbench 15.0 and ANSYS Mechanical APDL 15.0 available as analysis tool.

Would you reccomend to use Workbench or the traditional version (Mechanical APDL)?
