Dear Ansys experts/users

I would be highly grateful if anyone could explain to me why the attached (short and simple) code doesn't work! The problem apparently is related to applying heat flux and convection BC's. If you run the code with fixed temperature BC's, it works perfectly.

Many thanks in advance,

Kate

How does it fail? What warnings and errors do you get? Have you tried smaller substeps?

Christopher, thanks for your reply. I managed to solve the problem by applying the heat flux and convection BCs through the GUI which is a bit weird.

Then you can look at your log file to see what commands were generated by the GUI and see if they are different from the ones you used in your unsuccessful batch submittal.
