Modelling of a CMC Joint 1

Hi,

I am in the process of modeling a thumb capometacarpal joint (for the purpose of a FEA). The contoured surface of both the Metacarpal and Trapezium bones were modeled using a coordinate measuring machine along with a plastic cast of the bones. I am presently looking for literature on both the thickness and distributions of the articular cartilage and the cancellous bone. Also, any ideas for modeling these parameters are welcomed?
