Modelling the interface between steel reinforcing bar and concrete

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to model the bond behaviour between steel reinforcement (truss 1D) and concrete at Abaqus. I'd like to know how can I establish the contact between them, taking into account that I'm using truss elements (1D) in order to model the steel reinforcing bar. Does it exist any way of using a contact edge to edge (similar to surface to suface case)? Thank you so much.
