I am using NX7.0 and I'd like to have on assembly drawing "Part list" and "Autoballon marks".Balloon marks should be in the form -part name- of course with leaders. There musn't be a "circle" mark or nothing else.
I do this steps to create mentioned above:
1.create assembly drawing
2.create "part list" on the drawing
3.create "autoballon" marks (there is number inside of circle)
4.now I'm trying to modify created "autoballon" marks
5.marked bar of "part list", twice push left button of mouse
6.in the discovered panel "Annotation style"
modifying "callouts" symbol to "NONE"
main symbol text to "part name"
7.push "Aplly" and "OK"
8.execute "Update Part List"
The result is:
there is correctly "part name" but there is "circle" mark over the part name all the time (even if I set the symbol on "NONE").
Please, what's wrong in the steps above, or what to do in other way to solve the problem?
Thanks very much for answers.

An option as been added to NX 7.5 which will allow this, the part name as the 'autoballoon' without the addition of a symbol such as a circle.

John,
Is there anyway to display the part name without a symbol, even without an Underline?

I haven't found any way to do it. I'm going to have to take this up with someone in the Drafting group since as best I can see, until the 'Underline' option was added in NX 7.5, even if you selected the 'None' option for the symbol, if you were generating ANY kind of ID, it would override that setting and revert back to at least a simple circle symbol.
