Modifying Converted Entities 1

If I have an irregular shape (not a square or rectangle or some other
standard outline) located on a sketch plane and I pick on a number
of sketch entities that are connected and convert those sketch entities....
there's many endpoints that connect the converted lines. Is there a way,
a command, that lets me create a single line (or path) that does away with
the end points?.... with the exception of maybe having an end point on the
2 ends of the converted
path..... Thanks.

Within a sketch...

Tools --> Spline tools --> Fit Spline

Use with caution. Note there will be deviations where the fit spline accounts for C2 discontinuities (corners and tangents).

Composite curve joins the curves into a continuous chain of Lines,Arcs&Others as is. The Fitspline will make a Spline that approximates the entities in the chain as close as possible and make one continuous spline with smooth curvature.

The Composite Curve will create a separate Curve entity that is not within a sketch. It can be brought into a later sketch as a converted entity and will only show points where discontinuities (non-tangent connections) occur.

The FitSpline gives an option to automatically make the original curves into construction geometry during the operation, and can be done within the same sketch. There is also an option to keep the spline associative to the curves so it will update when dimension changes are made.
