I'm currently working on a deformable part that will be used to drive standard sections for some of our components.
I've found a glitch in the part due to not dimensioning the length of a reference line in an early sketch.
Can I now save the part as it has already been used and is a component in an assy?
I'm worried if I save it that it will corrupt the model in some way and I'm not even sure if the Deformable feature in the assy would actually be updated? In the past I've always deleted the deformable feature in the original (seed) component. I've never had to modify a part after it's been incoporated into an assy.
Any help would be great.

Cheers,

Mark,

So long as you're editing the original file, and not recreating it using the same name, it shouldn't cause any issues. As you say, you're only "dimensioning the length of a reference line in an early sketch".
