Modulus of Subgrade Reaction

In my experience as structural engineer, geotechnical engineers provide me with the admisible bearing preasure of a soil, but often forget to provide the modulus of subgrade reaction.
Is there a direct relation between the modulus of subgrade reaction and the admisible bearing preasure of a soil?
