Dear Geotechnical professionals,

I am modelling 3DPC three dimensions printed concrete structure, the plasticity of fresh concrete in this case is represented by Mohr-coulomb model, I have the results of shear and compression tests. From these results all of modulus elasticity, friction angle, dilation angle and cohesion have been obtained. During modelling this material in ABAQUS CAE, this software to provide two parameters that I cant understand what they are represented in such material properties and how I can compute them from all data that I have.

The cohesion yield stress as a function of plastic strain

Cohesion yield stress Abs plastic strain

What I understand that the cohesion yield stress is the cohesion value that I obtained from the data I have , my question is how I computed or obtain the "Abs plastic strain" how I relate these two values as mentioned in ABAQUS help document functionally.

These parameters are used to define the isotropic cohesion hardening curve for the Mohr-Coulomb model. This is very similar to what you specify for regular (Mises) plasticity - stress-plastic strain data points.

Check the documentation chapters related to this model in the Materials Guide and Theory Guide. Books (including the one titled "Applied Soil Mechanics with ABAQUS Applications" by S. Helwany) and research papers may also be useful.

Thanks my dear for your response,

Unfortunately, I read all relevant documents and paper but I couldn't understand what Abaqus means by these two parameters and how I can compute them from the results of relevant tests. I appreciate any help in this regard as I am stuck in this issue for a month now.

regards.
