Here is the issue. I have a part to be heat staked and need to show it in both pre staked and post staked states. Is it better to have two catparts or two bodies in one catpart. Also there will be a drawing for both states, don't now if that makes a difference.

Two separate CATParts will be better in the long run. Two PartBodies will cause problems with drafting, and mass properties analysis. They are workable, but it is tricker than using multiple parts.
