Hay,

we are searching a simple method for measuring of resin molecular weight which may be used for fast quality control check. Which method do you suggest? It needs to be fast, easy and stabile. Thanx in advance!

I think we would need to know more about your needs. The accurate ways to measure molecular weight are not quick and cheap. One is GPC (gel permeation chromatography) also known as SEC. That's quite quick, e.g. 20 minutes but expensive. Another way is viscosity measurements which are cheap but time consuming (hours).

The usual QC method is doing an MFI (melt flow index measurement) but that doesn't really measure molecular weight. What it will do is tell you if the viscosity has changed and that will indicate if molecular weight has changed compared to your usual value.
