I evaluating a couple existing beams (late 70's building) and don't have the moment of inertia for a W8x17. Does someone have it? Thank!

From the 6th Edition of the AISC (publish date 1966) WF 8x5-1/4, 17 PLF: , A=5.0 in2,web t=0.23 in, d/Af=4.95,Ix=56.4 in4, Sx=14.1 in3, Iy=6.72 in4, Sy=2.6 in3

The values in the 7th edition manual are slightly different.

W8x17
A=5.01 in2
d=8.00 in
bf=5.250 in
tf=0.308 in
tw=0.230 in
Ix=56.6 in4
Sx=14.1 in3
rx=3.36 in
Iy=7.44 in4
Sy=2.83 in3
ry=1.22 in
rT=1.40 in
J=0.147 in4
Cw=110 in6
Zx=15.9 in3
Zy=4.36 in3

I think the 8th ed. of AISC was the last to publish the W8x17 specs.

It's not in the 8th edition. It looks like the W8x17 was modified slightly and became the W8x18.

Thanks everyone for your help!!!!
