Hi,

My customer wants to use Monel 400 material for a piping transporting 100% oxygen pressurized inside a pressure piping having walls at 350F.

Do you see any issues? If yes, what are the references (standard, books, etc.) supporting your issues.

Thanks in advance for your help.

There are a number of standards for this service.
The one that comes to mind is the CGA.
You will need a standard for valves, fittings and other parts.
Maximum flow velocity is also an issue along with temp and pressure.
Monel is a good choice for this service. The old DMIC data from the 60's shows Monel resisting ignition in oxygen at high temperature and pressure.

I would suggest you review NFPA 50 and ASME B31.3.
