MONEL TRIM FOR 2" & 4" GATE VALVE 2

If the requirement for oil refinery is Monel trim for the subject valve, can we supply valves with stem in complete monel but seat ring & wedge in CF8M with Monel overlay. Will this combination work perfectly fine for use in oil refinery. Expersts Please advise.

Only the oil refinery can answer your question, depending on internal (detailed) valve specifications for the company, regardless of the general quality of the combination.

I can imagine situations where Monel overlay over the cast part would not work "perfectly fine" when compared to solid Monel trim. It depends on why they want the Monel in the first place.
