Over 30 years of operating our gas pipe lines we haven't had much issues to deal with internal corrosion. Currently we are doing a study to implement some internal corrosion monitoring technique to our pipelines.
We have come across software solutions for characterization of corrosion in pipelines as well as installing corrosion probes in suitable locations to monitor the internal corrosion. I would like to here from someone who had already gone these paths or else any other successful methods used to effectively monitor and control the risk of all internal corrosion issues in gas pipelines.

A little more information would be a great help.

What sizes are the lines?

Where are they located?

Pipe Sizes - 6",8" & 22"

All burried pipe work are in on shore.
