I am working on a planar monopole antenna which is double-fed using SMA connector, through a square groundplane. The antenna is made from a copper sheet. This antenna will be tested and measured using VNA and Anechoic Chamber for a very high frequencies (up to 11 GHz).

Can anyone suggest type of SMA connector that is suitable for this antenna to get a good measurement result since there's many type of connectors in catalogue? Thanks

Hi,
you can use SMA PCB connector (RS Components 363-4707).
I used it for frequencies between 2 to 10 GHZ and it
was very good!

Best regards,
AJ

You should be able to use any SMA connector which is designed for a impedance-matching transition use (as opposed to SMA such as a solder cup bulkhead which is for lower frequency signals). A variety of SMA connectors are available from companies like Pasternack
Phase dispersion is the main thing to watch out for in UWB. I don't think a well designed SMA would have issues, but I don't have direct experience with UWB and connectors.

Without knowing exactly what you are transitioning to (PCB thickness, stripline, microstrip, etc) I can't be more specific.
