I watched them videos 2-3 weeks ago...
A lot of learning curve on these diagram-curves for me...
At least I understand there is something to learn in motion control...

This one is about advanced press control.
Beside meeting the precision requirements, minimizing cycle time is important too.
There are two main methods
1. Use a big and small valve approach. This is what is discussed in the video.
2. Use jack or kicker cylinders to move a big ram but using only one valve.
Both method allow for fast motion when closing as fine pressure control when closed.
