Hi - I know that I can determine the coefficients for Cm and Cd using Keulegan Carpenter number but I have seen these equations for a Morison derivation of C and Cd - please see picture below - I'm an unsure though what is 'F' in the equation - what do I use for this please ? thanks,

Hi yes well it probably is Force but which Force ? How do I know what the Force is as so far for the problem that I have I've just calculated dynamic pressure along the length of the riser as it gets deeper into the ocean - so I don't know what Force to use
