Most of the parametric modeling software (e.g. Autodesk Inventor), have capability of linking to Microsoft Excel as a calculation sheet, which can gives some dimensions upon them, our parametric model is based. Then, corresponding dimensions can be shown in 2D drawing sheets with proper title blocks.
In my experience with this software, the most complicated model which used full parametric feature (i.e. basic inputs in Excel, then updating linked model, which in turn updates drawing sheets) was a Hydraulic Actuator. Most of the parametric models that I've seen are simple assemblies like manholes, davits, and so on.
What is your most complicated seen model, which use full parametric feature of Inventor (or similar software)?
