Motion Skeleton - Adding Assemblies

After creating a motion skeleton, it is very easy to create a part that attaches directly to one of the motion skeleton bodies from the motion skeleton and have inherited features automatically added to the newly created part.

In most cases however, I need an assembly attached to the motion skeleton, not a part. Such an option is not available. When I create an assembly, I do not have the option to attach it to the motion skeleton and bring in the inherited features.

Did I miss it somewhere, or is there a way to create an assembly which is automatically attached to the motion skeleton and contains inherited features?

Thank you,
Glenn
