I have an electric motor of European manufacture with 6 leads coloured, yellow, brown, green, black, blue and white.
The green wire is not earth, there is a green/yellow wire which is connected to the frame of the motor.
The motor is dual voltage, 230 or 380V depending upon if it connected in delta or star. I want to use it on 380V.
I have belled the wires out and have the following:
black --> green
blue --> white
yellow --> brown
But which colours are for the star point and which are for the supply? I've searched the internet without success.
The thought of all the differing connection combinations makes my head spin!
Does anyone know, please?
