I am doing a coordination study and want to protect a medium voltage motor with a relay. To do this I need to know the damage curve of the motor.

If I would know this curve I can plot it. Where can I obtain standard motor damage curves for different types of motors?

Thanks.

From the manufacturer of the motor. There are design criteria published for smaller low voltage motors, but medium voltage motors are often designed for specific tasks so it is best to get the damage curve for your exact unit by using the serial number and going to the manufacturer.
