I've been hunting around for any available electric motor design software (eg. winding calculations, slot and conductor sizes / pitches, torque, voltage) for low voltage motor use (eg. <600V). Since the application is private "hobby" type work I was hoping to find some shareware / freeware. Primarily I need a way to calculate / accurately estimate what AC input voltage will produce a given current in a pre-established stator at various frequencies and rpm. I'm using David Meeker's FEMM (10 stars to him! ) and it provides most of the balance of data but I can't figure out how to accurately determine impedance of a given stator / rotor.

Any ideas? Thanks.
